HOW TO BAG A TRIP ABROAD FOR £35 - YES IT IS POSSIBLE

Now, I know what many of you reading are thinking, either that is impossible or you'll be slumming your trip on someone's sofa. Well no actually, travelling is not as expensive as people believe it to be. With many people still being glued to travel agents and package deals, it's understandable that many would believe travelling to be expensive, especially if they have never booked a trip themselves independently. But in all honesty, it was only until recently I have worked out how to make a trip that cheap. Before I was able to bag a two-night city break in a 4-star/5-star hotel for £100 a person, but by discovering Airbnb and booking flights further in advance, that cost can be brought down to a whopping £35. So how can you bag flights and accommodation that cheap, well look no further (and I'll try to keep the post brief)...

TRAVELLING HAND LUGGAGE ONLY - CABIN ZERO REVIEW

As many of you who are regular readers know, although I never skimp on quality, I am quite the budget traveller. I will always opt for the cheapest airline available to get to my destination and 9/10 times it will be a budget airline which will charge to check in luggage. Meaning I am quite the hand luggage only gal! Usually, for short city breaks I would bring along a small wheely case, but if travelling on public transport a lot and having to walk from place to place with luggage, especially in countries with bumpy pavements, it really is impractical. Which is why Cabin Zero's offering of a suitcase on my back was pretty appealing!

SWITCHING OFF WHILST TRAVELLING - MY THOUGHTS

Often when I’ve gone travelling in the past, I’m met with two reactions when it comes to posting to social media whilst away. Those who read my blog, and family and friends who are interested in what I get up to enjoy my posts, whilst others will sit proclaiming that I clearly cannot be having fun whilst away if I am sat on my phone and snapping. It’s not just me exclusively who I see be ‘bashed’ for posting, often on social-media I will see people ranting about people constantly uploading and being glued to their phones whilst abroad. So what’s my take?
