WHY I LOVE JAPAN: LESSER KNOWN PLACES TO VISIT (GUEST POST)

Hello! Today I will be sharing a guest post from fellow travel blogger Rhiannon from Rhiannon Travels! Of course as many of you know I adore making friends with likeminded people online and fortunately blogging and social media such as Instagram can be absolutely fabulous for that! Rhiannon is from Australia and has travelled to many places, her native country, the USA, and of course Japan! In fact that’s how we got in touch in the first place! I was in awe of all of her gorgeous snaps on Instagram from her month long trip, and lets just say I was oozing with jealousy! So we’ve been talking since and decided to guest post on each other’s blogs! Her post today is all about why she too loves Japan and all of the lovely off the beaten path spots she found! (As you know, I’m all for finding hidden gems!) I really hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.

MISTAKES & BAD TIMES - THEY HAPPEN

Everybody makes mistakes and goes through bad times, it’s a given. If you believe some people around you do not when you naturally compare your life to others, either they are really good at hiding it, or simply their ‘bad time’ or ‘mistake’ has not come yet. Either way it really common and all of us will experience these negative times. I personally have had many of these moments in life, however, I’m writing this post not mainly as result of myself but because many who are close to me have been either struggling mentally and/or have made what they believe are ‘mistakes’ very recently. So if you reading this are going through a tough time, let me just say, it's going to be okay. I've witnessed it all firsthand from the perspective of a supporter, but have also experienced some negativity and mistake making myself.

A CLOUDY NIGHT IN LUXEMBOURG

As many of you would know from my Instagram, I recently travelled to Europa-Park in Germany. However, we travelled by car meaning it would take around 11 hours to get there, so we broke up the journey by staying in Luxembourg. I'd been to the city and the country as a whole before, and I had a wonderful time! The whole country is really worth exploring (and fairly easy as it is very small!) and the city is very pleasant. However, I wouldn't recommend much more than a day for the city, as it is very small and there is not a long list of things to see. However, below is a brief little guide where I've illustrated what I liked doing, what I recommend to do, and where to eat and stay! I will be blogging about the highlight of this road trip, Europapark in Germany soon!

SNAP GE 2017 - WHY YOU SHOULD CARE & WHAT TO DO

I was always dubious about writing about politics on my blog. I always saw my own blog as an escape from some of the not-so-pleasant things in life, despite the fact I adored fellow bloggers raising and talking about important issues. I guess in a way I was uncomfortable talking about controversial things, although in person and on social media I'm okay with it, articulating myself properly and in a good way just felt so difficult. So I left it, and thought my blog clearly isn't made for that sort of thing. However, as I am writing this, a new general election has been announced. In the wake of Brexit, and an unelected PM, it was decided that one was required to push on. Although you and I may have varying views about this, one thing is certain, we need to act.
