BEING A BOSS AT BEATING JETLAG

Definition of jetlag - something that is out there purely to be a nuisance and mess up your system. Well not the dictionary definition but close enough! For those new to going to timezones 3 hours different to their own, jetlag is something that is probably going to cause you a lot of trouble. However, as proud as this sounds, I've gotten a grip on jetlag, I'm actually ace at beating it - and I've been to timezones with differences of 8-11 hours. Even when I was younger I was always much better than my family at adjusting. So here are my tips, some of which were just natural to me and some I have gained over time as I've gotten older

MAKING A TRIP TO SCANDINAVIA AFFORDABLE - TWO NIGHTS IN OSLO

I still remember my trip to Oslo as if it were yesterday, but in fact, my trip there was over a year ago! It was my 2nd trip abroad that I had organised myself and back then I worked significantly fewer hours and I had only just got off of the pre-18 minimum wage - all in all, I didn't have much cash and not much experience travelling abroad alone. However, the trip was a massive success! My point? Many people tell me that they'll never visit Scandinavia as it's far too expensive and as it's not as easy as visiting other European countries. I beg to differ. The only issue was the exchange rate, we do not get many pounds to Scandinavian currencies, however, I still was able to afford a good trip here not living like a peasant and the trip was super easy! So where do I recommend to start? Oslo, the capital of Norway.

MY FAVOURITE CREATORS - YOUTUBE EDITION

Hello, so this is a post I have really wanted to write in quite a while! Of course, when it comes to creating content online, we always want to share our knowledge, creativity, and skills with others. However, when I read and watch the content of others online, I won't just stick to one person, I view a wide range YouTube accounts. This is because it's a lovely form of entertainment and good way of getting information - and variety is always very good and helpful! Which is why I thought I would dedicate a whole post today to my favourite creators. I follow a wide range of people for different reasons who produce differing content. Some have huge followings, others smaller, however, one thing is for sure - they all are wonderful people and produce quite brilliant stuff, many of whom I have had the pleasure of meeting! Although I have featured a few British UK-based creators, many of the creators I have featured are from all around the world which help you find a wide variety of different people, as I know most of you who read are from the UK <3

VISITING TOKYO ON A BUDGET - IS IT DOABLE AND COMFORTABLE?

The only city in the world I have yet been able to call my second home. Typically I love my suburban home and find busy cities a bit overwhelming. Tokyo, however, is the exception to this rule. I've always felt immensely comfortable coming to Tokyo and happy! However, in an effort to squeeze in a third trip to Japan within the same year, I opted for much cheaper accommodation than I was used to, and scaled back my spending habits: less expensive restaurants, less shopping, less expensive attractions. When I was used to staying in 5* hotels or large spacious apartments, would a tiny hotel room be enough? When I was used to eating wherever I fancied, buying all the adorable things I saw and enjoying everything Tokyo had to offer, would I still be happy? Could people who aren't as enamoured with Japan as I am, be able to cope if they really want to afford to go? Well...
