WHEN TRAVELLING IS NOT PERFECT - PREPARATION AND EXPECTATIONS

Scrolling through social media and coming across various people's travel experiences, we sit back often in awe at how wonderful they look. The beautiful pictures, the relaxing and all of the adventure - it's very easy to get jealous and catch feelings of wanderlust! Although I'm guilty myself,  I pride myself in knowing I create many wonderful travel experiences for myself and I'm aware that a few people like what I do. But, it's certainly not plain sailing. So let's have some honesty, travelling isn't something that is always easy, smooth and pleasant. Things can and will go wrong...

A GUIDE TO TOKYO - MY FAVOURITE SPOTS

Finally, after a year of this blog and three trips to Tokyo, I am finally writing a trip guide! Yes it took me long enough, but admittedly, despite adoring the city the first time, I was far from being an expert on what's worth doing and what's not. Even going three times doesn't award me the title of 'Tokyo expert', however, I certainly know quite a bit about Tokyo now...the best indicator: I know the Tokyo metro/JR system just as much as the London underground now ;) So my favourite things to do in Tokyo are featured right below! Whether it's your first time or if you've been a few times I hope something below peaks your interest.

HOW TO SAVE YOUR PENNIES AND GO TRAVELLING

As you've seen before on the blog, I have posted a couple of times tips regarding how to travel as cheap and easy as possible. This is because many who do not believe that they can travel, actually can despite the circumstances. Of course, I completely understand some people often struggle with money and even day-to-day living costs can be a struggle, which is why I and others should be extremely grateful if we are ever given the opportunity to travel. Rule of thumb to differentiate: essentially if you can afford to have a social life and buy yourself things, you can probably can afford to travel. However, for those of you who just cannot seem to get enough money together but aren't too far away from booking a trip, here are my tips and advice.

HOW TO RELAX AND UNWIND TO GET SOME GOOD REST

Sleep, one of the most important things we need to do, yet somehow we all seem to put it off. But why do we do this? I know for a fact having a good sleep feels amazing, especially when it's long and good quality. That lovely snug cosy feeling before you drift off, followed by waking up in the morning feeling energised and refreshed <3 Yes...I totally just made you want to hop into bed didn't I? But struggling to switch off is usually what confronts us and prevents us from doing so. If you're much like myself; and struggle to sleep as you would rather be doing something productive, here is what I like to do on those nights when I want and need my sleep...

RETURNING TO BLOGGING WITH A TOKYO VLOG AND A GIVEAWAY

Hello, sorry for the mini-hiatus, as some of you are aware I have been travelling quite a lot the past month! Nevada, California, Beijing and Tokyo. Immediately following all of that I've enrolled for my second year of university and Japanese classes! Meaning I haven't been able to chug out post after post as I usually do - I am so very sorry! Fortunately I am back into a routine for 12 weeks so you can look forward to posts again :)
